Chicken sandwich

Ingredients:-

Chicken boneless(boil and shredded) -1 cup
Mayonnaise -3 tbsp
Mustard sauce -1 tbsp
Sugar -1/2 tsp
Salt -1 pinch
Bread slice -4(for 2 sandwich)

Method :-

1)mix all ingredients.stuff in the bread slice and grill.

Simple cookie recipe 

Ingredients:-

Butter-100 gms
Flour-200 gms
Powdered sugar-80 gms
Vanilla essence -1/2 tsp 
Egg beaten-3 tbsp

Method-

1)Mix butter and flour with finger tip.
2)Add sugar,egg and vanilla essence (if required add cold water)make a dough.
3)Make different shape and bake it at 160 degree for 10 min.if not done increase time accordingly .
Use flour while giving shape to the cookie to avoid sticking of dough in your hand.

Quick Holiday Snacks for kids

Veg Sandwich:-

Cabbage shredded -1/2 cup
Carrot grated -1/4 cup
Capsicum -1/4 cup(cut into thin slice)
Boiled potato-1/4 cup(cut into small pieces)
Salt -taste
Cheese grated -1 cup
Black pepper -1/2 tsp
Bread slice -6 (for 3 sandwich)

Method

1)Mix all ingredients except cheese,filling is ready.
2)Take a slice of bread,spread the filling,put  grated cheese on the filling ,cover it with another slice of bread and grill in sandwich maker or non stick tava.

Sweet and Spicy Chicken with Bell  Peppers

Ingredients For Marination :-

Chicken boneless 1" piece(leg piece)-500 gm
Bell pepper(red and yellow)-1 cup(cut into 1"piece)
Vinegar-2 tbsp
Soya sauce-1 tsp
Egg beaten-1 nos
White pepper-1/2 tsp
Cornflour -2 tbsp
Garlic(grated)-1 tsp
Salt-taste

 1) Mix all the above  ingredients and keep it for 3 hrs.
2)Take cornflour in a plate,coat each piece of chicken and bell peppers with dry cornflour and deep fry it.
3)keep aside.

Ingredients For Sauce

Garlic(finely chopped)-2 tbsp
Sesame -1 tbsp
Kashmiri mirch powder-1/2 tsp
Red chilly sauce-1 tbsp
Tomato ketchup-3 tbsp
Soya sauce-1 tsp
Sugar-2 tsp
Salt -taste
Cornflour-1 tbsp(mixed with 1/2 cup water)
Honey -11/2 tbsp.

1)Take 1 tbsp oil in a non stick pan, add garlic,sesame,when it turns light brown add sugar.
2)Then add all the sauce,kashmiri mirch pd. and salt.
3)Then add the fried chicken and bell peppers,mix well.
4)Now add the cornflour mixed with water and keep mixing until it is nicely coated.
5)At the end switch of the gas and add honey.mix well.

Keep check on salt because every sauce contains some amount of salt.Taste in between before adding the salt.

Serve Hot.

Barabar Ki Chutney

Barabar ki Chutney with Chilla

Ingredients:-

Garlic-50 gms
Ginger-50 gms
Red chilly powder-25 gms
Oil(mustard or normal)-50 ml
salt-50 gm
Aamchoor powder-50 gms
jaggery(gur)-50 gms

Method-
Take all the ingredients in  a mixie jar and make fine paste.If you feel its dry add 1 or 2 tsp of oil.

Note-This chuteny goes very well with Pakodas,Chillas,and you can use it as a dip..
If u want to make more in quantity,double the quantity of ingredients..

This chuteny can be stored for months in airtight jar.


Simple Chilla Recipe ( To go with this chuteny)

Ingredients:

Chana dal(Chola dal)-1 Cup
Govind bhog rice-1 Cup
Hing -1 pinch
Salt-taste
Green Chilly-1( Chopped)

Method:

1)Soak Chana dal and Rice for 5-6 hours.
2)Then grind it into a fine paste.(while grinding add small quantity of water in intervals.batter should be thick )
3)Add salt,hing,and green chilly.
4)Now make small thin chillas with the batter.

Serve hot with barabar ki chuteny.

Veg green soup

Ingredients for stock

Cabbage-1 cup
Carrot-1
Onion-1
Tomato-1
Water -3 cup
Boil all the above ingredients and strain the stock.

Ingredients for green chuteny

Coriander leaf-1 cup
Garlic-3-4 nos
Ginger-1/2 inch 
Salt-taste
Lime juice -1tbsp
Grind all the ingredients together and keep aside.
cornflour-1 tbsp
Corn -1/4cup

Method-

1)take a pan boil the stock and add 1/4 cup boil corn into it,then add the green chuteny 11/2 .
tbsp.
2)When it boils add cornflour mixed with water and stir,add salt according to taste.let it boil for some time.
3)Before serving add 1/2 tsp lime juice and serve hot.


Chicken green soup

Ingedients

Chicken stock-3 cup
Boiled chicken-1/2 cup(cut into small pieces)
(For stock pressure cook 250 gm of chicken with 3 cups of water)

Green chuteny-11/2 tbsp (Same as made for veg soup)

Cornflour-1 tbsp
Salt -taste
Lime juice-11/2 tbsp
black pepper-1 pinch.
Green Chilies- 3  

Method-

1)Boil the chicken stalk add chicken pieces to it.
2)Then add green chuteny and let it come to boil.
3)Add cornflour mixed with water and let it boil for some time.
4)Then add lime juice and a pinch of black pepper. serve hot..

This soup is very effective in cold and cough.

Simple veg  pasta salad 

Ingredients:-

Pasta(penne)-1 cup boiled
Capsicum -1/4th cup cut into small pieces
Corn -1/4 cup boiled.
Cucumber-1/4 cup cut into small pieces
Sprouted moong-1/4 cup
Boiled potato-1/2 cup cut into small pieces
Eggless mayonnaise-1/2 cup
Sugar -2 tbsp
Mustard sauce-1 tbsp
Salt-1/4 tsp
Amul cream-2 tbsp


Method:-

1)mix mayonnaise,sugar,salt,mustard sauce and amul cream in a big bowl.
2)then add all d left ingredients and mix well but with light hand.

healthy salad is ready to serve.

NOTE-Those who eat egg can add boiled egg cut into pieces.

Tomato cabbage and bean soup


Ingredients:-

For stock

Onion -3 nos
Potato -3 nos
Tomato-3 nos
Cut all the vegetables and boil with 6 cup of water.
 

For topping

Onion -1 chopped
Cabbage-3/4 cup
Baked beans-1 small can.
Oil -11/2 tsp
Salt -according to taste
Pepper -according to taste

Method:-

1)In a pan add oil,then add onion and cabbage one by one and cook for 1 min.
2)add stock and boil,then add baked beans again boil for 7-8 min.
3)add salt and pepper.

Serve hot with garlic bread or toast..

Veg soup with grilled cheese.

Ingredients:-

Tomato -3 large
Cabbage -1/2 cup
Carrot -1/2 cup
Baked beans-1 /2 cup
Cornflour-11/2 tbsp
Onion -1 chopped
Bay leaf -1 nos
Sugar -1/2 tsp
Salt -according to taste
Pepper-according to taste
Cheese -4 tbsp
Water -5 cup
Oil -1tsp

Method:-

1) Cut the tomatoes and cook in 5 cup water.then blend.*
2)In a pan add 1 tsp oil,to it add the onion and stir.then add cabbage and carrot.stir for 1 min.
3)now add the tomato soup*.boil and then add the cornflour mixed with water.
4)Now add salt,sugar,pepper and baked beans.give one boil.
5)Pour the soup in big serving bowl and sprinkle cheese on top.
6)Now bake for 5 min.in a preheated oven at 170 degree.
a healthy soup is ready to serve.

Note: you can serve this with toast or soup breads.
