Tomato cabbage and bean soup


Ingredients:-

For stock

Onion -3 nos
Potato -3 nos
Tomato-3 nos
Cut all the vegetables and boil with 6 cup of water.
 

For topping

Onion -1 chopped
Cabbage-3/4 cup
Baked beans-1 small can.
Oil -11/2 tsp
Salt -according to taste
Pepper -according to taste

Method:-

1)In a pan add oil,then add onion and cabbage one by one and cook for 1 min.
2)add stock and boil,then add baked beans again boil for 7-8 min.
3)add salt and pepper.

Serve hot with garlic bread or toast..

Veg soup with grilled cheese.

Ingredients:-

Tomato -3 large
Cabbage -1/2 cup
Carrot -1/2 cup
Baked beans-1 /2 cup
Cornflour-11/2 tbsp
Onion -1 chopped
Bay leaf -1 nos
Sugar -1/2 tsp
Salt -according to taste
Pepper-according to taste
Cheese -4 tbsp
Water -5 cup
Oil -1tsp

Method:-

1) Cut the tomatoes and cook in 5 cup water.then blend.*
2)In a pan add 1 tsp oil,to it add the onion and stir.then add cabbage and carrot.stir for 1 min.
3)now add the tomato soup*.boil and then add the cornflour mixed with water.
4)Now add salt,sugar,pepper and baked beans.give one boil.
5)Pour the soup in big serving bowl and sprinkle cheese on top.
6)Now bake for 5 min.in a preheated oven at 170 degree.
a healthy soup is ready to serve.

Note: you can serve this with toast or soup breads.

Easy Vanilla Muffins (Cake)

Easy vanilla muffins(cake)


Ingredients:-


Butter-100gm
Refined flour(maida)-100gm
Powdered sugar-100gm
Egg -2nos
Baking powder-1/2 tsp
Vanill essence-1/2tsp
Milk-1/4 cup(or according to requirment)


Method:-


1) Sift flour and baking powder.
2) Beat butter and sugar till fluffy.
3) Add egg one by one and beat,add vanilla essence n mix.
4) Now add flour n fold with the help of spoon(don't use the beater).
5) Add the milk if the mixture is very thick.
6) Now bake it in the oven for 15-20 min at 170 degree temp.(or till done)



Note- You can try this to make icing cake also.You can choose the  flavor of your own choice.


Icing 


Ingredients-


Whipping cream - 200ml (In Kolkata you get the cream in New Market and Metro Cash and Carry)
Icing sugar - 50gm
Essence [Of your choice.(mango,strawberry,vanilla,butter scotch,pineapple etc)]- 1/2 tsp
Sugar syrup - 1/2 cup(to soak the cake)
Fruit -of your choice(strawberry,kiwi,pineapple,mango,peach)Chopped.


Method:-


1) Whip the cream,icing sugar and essence till stiff peak is formed.
2) Now slice the cake and soak it in sugar syrup.
3) Now spread the half cream on 1 slice and add some chopped fruit.
4) Cover this with other slice and spread rest of the cream.
5) Decorate it with rest of the chopped fruit.


I made this cake for my daughter's 13th B'day!!

THE CAKE IS READY FOR BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARY'S AND SO ON..

Easy Chocolate Cupcake!! (Egg)

 Ingredients-  

Curd                                                          1 cup
Flour                                                          1 and a 1/2 cup
Cocoa Powder                                           1/2 cup
Eggs                                                            2
Powdered Sugar                                         1 and a 1/2 cup
Soda Bicarb                                                1 and a 1/2 tsp
Melted Butter                                              185 grams
Vanilla Essence                                            1 tsp


Method- 

1) Sift all the dry ingredient together.
2) Add 1/2 cup curd. Then add the butter and beat for 2 minutes.
3) Add the rest of the curd and the eggs (beaten) for 2 minutes.
4) Add vanilla essence and bake at 180 degree centigrade for 30 minutes.

NOTE-

  • You can make this as a whole cake also.

Shahi Matar Paneer and Tandoori Roti.. Deadly Combination!!

Shahi Matar Paneer

Serves: 2

                 








Ingredients-   

Paneer                                 250 gm
Pea (Mattar)                       50 gm
Cashew(Kaju)                     6-7
Onion                                   2-3
Garlic                                   5-6 cloves
Ginger                                 1/2 inch
 Melon Seeds (magaj)        1 tbsp
Kasoori Methi                    1 tsp
Garam Masala                   1 tsp
Salt                                     As Required
Sugar                                  1 and a 1/2  tsp
Water                                 1 cup
Bay Leaves                        2
Cinnamon                           1 inch

Method-

 1) Grind- Cashew , Onion , Garlic, Ginger, Melon Seeds , into a fine paste.
 2) Then heat the pan and add 2 and a 1/2 tbsp of oil.
 3) Add Cinnamon and Bay Leaves and then the  grind masala ,and fry till oil separates.
 4) Add Kasoori Methi and water and bring to a boil . Add Peas and cook for some time.
 5) Then add Paneer , Garam Masala , Salt and Sugar and close the lid and cook for 1 minute.
 6) Serve it hot  with Tandoori Roti (Recipe given below) or anything you like.

Tandoori Roti 

Serves: 2

Ingredients- 

Normal Wheat flour (Atta)      500 gm
Maida                                       50 gm
Salt                                           1 tsp.
Curd                                         3 tbsp
Oil                                             2 tbsp.
Water

Method-

1) Mix all the  ingredients and make a soft dough and keep it for 3 hrs ( in summer) and 5 hrs( in winter).
2) Then make Roti's on tandoor or on normal tava .
3) Serve it hot with Butter or Ghee on the top.

Note


  • The above recipe can be tried with 300 gm chicken instead of Paneer for making Shahi chicken.The chicken should be added with the grinded masala and cooked together till the oil separates. 
  • For better flavor microwave ginger , onion and garlic together for 4 minutes with 1/4 cup of water before grinding.
